Jeju Marine Research Center
제주특성연구센터The Jeju Research Institute (KIOST Jeju) is conducting research on the marine bio-industry using clean marine resources and relevant research on marine environmental changes to understand the effects of climate change on the marine environment around Jeju Island. KIOST Jeju will be a glocal core Institute for actively producing innovative R&D findings.
제주특성연구센터는 제주의 청정소재를 활용한 해양바이오산업화 연구와 제주연안 해양환경변화에 따른 해양생태계의 변화 연구를 수행하고 있다. 제주 해양바이오산업 클러스터 기반을 구축하여 국가 미래전략산업 육성에 기여하고, 기후변화에 따른 해양환경변화 연구의 핵심 전초기지 역할을 수행하는 등 글로벌 핵심 연구소로 발돋움하고자 한다.
