dc.description.abstract Dissolved organic carbon(DOC) and fluorescent dissolved organic matter(FDOM) were measured in the Saemangeum Area from February 2003 to July 2004. Organic matter inflowing quantity, which was incoming through Mankyung and Dongjin river to the Saemangeum area, was mostly concentrated on wet season. Dissolved organic carbon(DOC) showed a conservative behavior in these estuarine system, therefore it is influenced by interaction of freshwater and seawater by ebb and flow. However, in case of July 2004, the occupied rate of massive material on the humic substances of dissolved organic matter was rapidly increased compare to that of summer season in 2003. -
