dc.description.abstract Dissolved organic carbon(DOC) and fluorescent dissolved organic matter(FDOM) were measured in the Shihwa Lake and the Seamangeum estuary, west coast of Korea. In the Shihwa Lake, measurements of DOC and FDOM suggest two sources of dissolved organic matter(DOM) in the Lake. In the Seamangeum area, DOC and FDOM showed conservative behavior, but there was an aspect for increasing of DOC and humic substance around north area in the Seamanguem dike when torrential rainfall expected. -
