Abstract

정보의 출처에 대하여 서지적 데이터를 기록, 저장, 교환하기 위해서는 일관된 서지기술과 코딩 방법이 필요하다. 여러 가지의 도큐멘테이션에 관한 표준들이 이러한 문제에 대하여 밀접하게 관련된 문제들을 다루었지만, 전문용어를 다루는 연구와 전문용어학과 같은 특수한 요구를 만족시키기 위한 고유하고 구체적인 요구조건들을 포함하고 있지 않다. 이 표준은 ISO 690과 ISO 690-2에서 제시한 서지적 참조의 구성방법을 준용하고 있다.ISO 690과 ISO 690-2는 저자와 편저자가 서지 목록에 포함되는 참고문헌 작성을 지원하며, 서지 목록의 기입요소와 문헌 본문상의 인용관계를 명확히 하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 용어학자의 작업 중 중요한 부분은, 추후 이용을 위한 문헌의 전문용어 내용을 규명하고 이와 같은 용어 내용을 분석ㆍ추출하는 것을 포함해서 이러한 결정의 기반이 되는 서지적 참조를 식별하는 것이다.
