연안재해안전연구부The Coastal Disaster & Safety Research Department Marine Disaster Research Center conducts research to support safe responses to various disasters that may occur along the coast of the Korean Peninsula. We intend to contribute to the safe maritime activities of the people through the establishment of ocean observation research stations and the development of ocean forecast systems to monitor and predict ocean environments with high data quality and accuracy in real-time around Korea. We also focus on developing new technologies to prevent coastal disasters, such as realistic convergence ocean contents.
연안재해안전연구부는 우리 연안에서 발생하는 다양한 재해의 안전한 대응을 지원하기 위한 연구를 수행하고 있다. 고품질의 해양 및 기상 정보를 실시간으로 획득하기 위한 종합 해양관측망의 개발과 구축, 신속하고 정확한 해양환경 현황 및 예보정보를 생산하기 위한 해양예측시스템 개발 연구, 4차 산업혁명 기술과 해양과학의 융합을 위한 실감형 융합 콘텐츠 개발 연구를 통해 국민 안전한 해양활동에 기여하고자 한다.
