dc.description.abstract This study is conducted to understand the concept and status of the U.S. mitigation policy, and to propose improved alternatives to current wetland policy in preparation for appropriately introducing a wetland mitigation policy for Japan and Korea. This study able us to carry out a comparative analysis of current wetland status and methods used to restore and create wetland ecosystem, to find out advantages and disadvantages of each system, and to propose alternative responses before introducing appropriately adopted mitigation policy for Japan and Korea. -
