dc.description.abstract As an effort of gaining improved idea on the role of the exchange processes a vertically one-dimensional analytical model has been deveoped, extending Dobbins' solution (1944). As a solution methodology the 1DV equation is first transformed to a simple diffusion equation and then the galerkin eigenfunction method used by Heaps(1972) has been applied. -
