dc.description.abstract | In this talk time-averaged and time-harmonic analytical solutions of the 1DV convection-diffusion equation in a sea region of finite water depth. It is implied that when the information on the time-averaged and oscillatory concentrations of suspended sediment at the sea surface are available, estimates of the corresponding erosion rates are possible, which are most troblesome in sediment modeling. Knowledge on the constant value of the eddy diffusivity coefficient is of course a prerequisite. | - |
