- Abstract
- 동해 중부 키타-야마토 해곡은 야마토 뱅크와 키타-야마토 뱅크사이에 형성된 좁고 긴 남서-북동방향의 지구이다. 이곳의 시추코아는 원양성 퇴적물의 수직적인 집적으로 형성되었으며,주변화산의 폭발적인 분출로 장거리 이동된 7매의 테프라가 확인되었다. 이들 테프라의 층서와 화산들의 분출당시의 대기와 해양환경 변화를 밝혀내었다.
