Abstract
- Thermococcus onnurineus NA1 isolated from a deep-sea hydrothermal vent area was sulfur-reducing hyperthermophilic archaea. We identified and quantitatively analyzed the proteomes of T. onnurineus NA1 at two different growth culture conditions (heterotrophic and lithotrophic condition). More than 800 proteins are identified by i-DE/MS-MS analysis using FT-MS. At heterotrophic condition enzymes of major metabolic pathways, ribosomal proteins, t-RNA synthases, and hypothetical proteins were identified as abundant proteins. At lithotrophic condition several dehydrogenases were exclusively identified.
