서해 태안 연안에서 이루어진 유류 오염 농도 구배에 따른 중형저서동물 군집의 반응 연구

Abstract

Researches concerning the effects of environmental pollution on marine benthos are often considered as time consuming and expensive. However, if we want to estimate biological effects of pollution at the community level, we must gather information on important community responses to such environmental disturbances. Generally, great reduction in meiobenthos numbers immediately after the oil-spill has been recorded. The several studies were carried out in sandy beaches located at the Tea-an, Coastal Yellow Sea of the Korean side between 28 October 1989 and 30 September 2010. Dominant species of nematode was Epacanthion sp. known as one of predator species inhabiting similar sandy beaches with large particles. The main purpose of this study was to examine the changes in the structure of meiofaunal assemblages after a oil-spill of different concentrations for normally a clean sandy beach.
