- 한국에서 수행 중인 해저광체 중 망간단괴와 망간각은 광상으로서의 잠재성에 있어 이들은 대체로 저품위 대규모 광산에 적합하며 해저열수광체의 경우는 희소금속의 함량이 주 채광종 개발에 있어 경제적 가치를 높일 것으로 예상된다.
