Abstract
The female of Triconia hirsuta Wi, Böttger-Schnack and Soh, 2010, a large oncaeid species originally described from Korean waters (NW Pacific, 34°05.97N, 129°47.32E), is recorded from the Northeastern Pacific (10°30N, 131°20W). The male is described for the first time. T. hirsuta can be easily distinguished from other species of conifera-subgroup by the following characteristics: the anterolateral margin of the genital double-somite with ornamentation and the different integumental pore patterns in both female and male. The present record of T. hirsuta is a wide the geographical distribution of this species in tropical and warm-temperate regions of the Ocean.°20W). The male is described for the first time.
