dc.description.abstract Five compounds were isolated from Reisshia clavigera collected in Jeju-island, Republic of Korea. As far as we have searched, there have been no previous reports regarding the secondary metabolites isolated from these species. The structures of isolated compounds were elucidated based on the analysis by NMR and HRMS and they could be identified to be oxazinin-1, 2, tyrindoxyl sulfate, homarine, chimyl alcohol, and 3-hydroxypiperidine-2-one. The growth inhibitory activities of those compounds against several cancer cell lines are now under investigation.s of isolated compounds were elucidated based on the analysis by NMR and HRMS and they could be identified to be oxazinin-1, 2, tyrindoxyl sulfate, homarine, chimyl alcohol, and 3-hydroxypiperidine-2-one.
