Abstract
E. coli is the most used host for recombinant protein production due to its rapid cell growth, low cost media, and high protein productivity compared to other host cells [1]. However, the productivity of recombinant proteins depends on the genetic code and cell system, and there is a limit to a method to increase productivity without inclusion bodies [2]. In this study, we intend to discuss the pattern of recombinant protein production by regulating various genes (signal sequence, stop-start codon overlapping between two coding genes, addition of sequence after stop codon, and reverse protein sequence etc.) of E. coli. Also, we want to provide simple techniques to aid in the production of recombinant proteins.
