| dc.description.abstract | 해양쓰레기 문제는 21세기 들어 전 세계적인 해양환경 현안으로 인식되고 있다. 이를 해결하기 위해 해양쓰레기의 수거 및 처리에 국한되었던 기존의 제도를 보완·수정하여 해양쓰레기에 대한 종류, 발생기인 및 시기와 같은 과학적인 자료를 수집 ·분석하고 이에 대한 예방 및 대책을 수립하기 위해 해양쓰레기 모니터링의 필요성이 제기되었다. 2008년 해양수산부에 의해 시작된 ‘국가 해안쓰레기 모니터링 사업’은 우리나라 해안의 해양쓰레기에 대한 전국적, 정기적 및 장기적 자료를 조사하는 사업으로 전국 40개의 정점을 지속적으로 조사하고 있다. 하지만 주로 서,남해안에 조사정점들이 집중되어 있어 2019년 후반 해당 사업과는 별도로 동해안 유일의 유인도인 울릉도를 조사정점으로 추가하고 기존의 방식과 동일하게 조사하여 결과를 국내 타 정점과 비교·분석하였다 | - |
