dc.description.abstract Archaeal 16SrDNAs were partially amplified from total DNAs of the sponges collected at Cheju Island.T-RFLP analysis showed that each sponge had iits specific archaeal communities. It showed highest similarity to crenrchaeotes, but in the generated tree the clade of clones was distinguished from the previously known orders within Crenarchaeota. -
