- 남극세종기지부근의 빙벽은 후퇴한다. 후퇴하는 양은 최근들어 아주 빨라져 최근 7 년 동안에 후퇴한 양이 과거 33 년 동안에 후퇴한 양보다 많다. 이는 그만큼 최근들어 기지부근의 기온이 빨리 올라가기 때문이다. 계속해서 관찰해야 할 것이다.
