- Abstract
- An exopolysaccharide -producing marine bacirum was isolated and designated as 00SS11568. Its exopolysaccharide has a molecular weight of 440,000 and consisted of glucose and xylose in a molar ratio 3:1. Culture conditions for its production were investigated and medium M-11568 was proposed as optimal medium.
