- 해양순환이 기후에 미치는 영향을 해양의 열염분순환에 의한 열수송, 이산화탄소순환의 관점에서 논의하였다. 열수송의 구조에 대한 정량적 설명과 열염분순환의 자연적 변동성에 대하여도 논의하였다.
