In order to establish geotechnical uncertainty of the domestic coast area, we have collected laboratory and in-situ test data of Busan and Gwangyang clay. Then we have reviewed geotechnical properties using them and performed statistical analysis as well. As a result of analyzing geotechnical properties with depth, water content, specific gravity, liquid & plastic limit, clay particle content, effective friction angle, rate of strength increase and compression & swelling index were not related to depth, whereas undrained shear strength and pre-consolidation stress were linearly increased with depth. For properties of no relation to depth, we estimated representative values through data filtering and for properties including trend of increase with depth, estimated geotechnical properties through regression analysis. Also, for coefficient of consolidation & permeability, statistical analysis was performed by step of consolidation stress considering stress dependent effect.
