Tintinnid Ciliates from the Southern Part of the Yellow Sea

Abstract
This paper gives the results of studies on 19species of tintinnid ciliates, which were collected during faunistic and ecological studies on marine planktonic ciliates in the southern part of the Yellow Sea and the South sea of Korea. These tintinnids include: Tintinnopsis radix, T. tubulosoides, T. beroidea, Amphorides quadrilineata, A. amphorea, Amphorellopsis acuta, Dadayiella ganymedes, Protorhabdonella simplex, Eutintinnus elegans, E. fraknoii, E. tubulosus, Leprotintinnus nordqvisti, Codonellopsis morchella, Epiplocylis undella, E. reticulata, Salpigella attenuata, Rhabdonella conica, R. cornucopia, and Undella claparedei, which belong to six families, respectively. Among the tintinnids mentioned above, two are new to Korean waters: Rhabdonella conica and R. cornucopia
