- Abstract
- Zooplankton community structure was surveyed in the Chuuk Lagoon in May 2005 and June 2006. Zooplankton samples were collected from 12 stations. Total zooplankton abundances were high around Weno Island, whereas they were low at the stations near the Northern Passages of the lagoon. Copepods and appendicularians were the most abundant taxons in the Chuuk Lagoon with the exception of a few stations in the most recent survey.
