| dc.description.abstract | 이 연구에서는 인공위성 원격탐사 시스템인 합성개구레이더(synthetic aperture radar, SAR) 영상자료를 활용하여 포항 근해에서 관측되어진 내부파(internal waves) 특성을 분석하고자 하였다. SAR 영상에 나타나는 내부파의 특징은 일반적으로 4-10개의 묶음(packet) 형태로 나타나며, 파정과 파곡의 형태가 심부 지형과 연관성을 가지기도 하며, 수백 미터에서 수 킬로미터의 간격을 갖는다. 이러한 내부파의 발생은 조석에 의한 흐름이나 선박과 같은 외력이 가해질 경우 밀도가 다른 수온약층의 경계부에서 발생되는데 이 연구에서는 SAR 영상자료를 활용하여 내부파의 특성 분석을 통해 향후 내부파의 발생 기작에 대한 이해와 해석을 위한 기초연구를 수행하고자 하였다. | - |
