dc.description.abstract To predict and prevent of natural disaster such as inundation induced by storm-surge of coastal area, the offer of accurate forecast information and hazard map about the coastal area produced by fin-grid numerical storm-surge prediction model is necessary. The accuracy of storm-surge inundation prediction and hazard map depends on how accurate the forecast model results are and it’s determined by fine-grid accurate topographic and bathymetric input information among many other elements. However, about the coastal area, the geospatial information is always changed and the connection of sea and land, it’s hard to get the coastal area’s fine-grid accurate topographic/bathymetric information. Therefore, in this paper, we register and integrate the three different kinds of data: digital topographical map, digital nautical chart and terrestrial LiDAR-based DEM data for coastal mapping to produce high-resolution and more reliable coastal geospatial information based on GIS. -
