dc.description.abstract Effects of screening the hydrophones with open-cell foams for reducing the infrasonic frequency flow-induced noise are studied experimentally in ocean. The results show that the flow noise in the infrasonic band could be reduced more than 20 dB when the polyurethane open-cell foam of 10 ppi and 3 cm thick is used. -
