dc.description.abstract A Tidal Power Plant (TPP) is being constructed at the middle part of the existing Sihwa Lake dike located near the southern Incheon Port in Korea. The project, which will continue until 2010, is to harness the largest tidal energy in the Kyeonggi Bay, the eastern Yellow Sea. The present paperoutlines the overall project with current progress of construction. The Sihwa TPP when it is completed will have the largest installed capacity so far. -
