dc.description.abstract Incheon Bay of Korea is one of the most famous regions for the high tidal range. Ministry of Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs (MLTM) of Korea is implementing preliminary investigation for tidal power energy development in this bay. Generally, complex factors are needed to examine and evaluate the validity of tidal power development. Geographic and meteorological factors, tide and wave information, sediment transport, marine environmental and biological factors, and social information are required for the development and conservation. This paper purpose is to introduce these fundamental elements as GIS data for tidal power development. -
