dc.description.abstract Irciniastatin C, an analog of irciniastatin A (also known as psymberin) reported to exhibit selective cancer cell growth inhibition at nanomolar level concentrations, has been isolated from the tropical marine sponge Ircinia ramosa collected from Chuuk, Micronesia. Further investigations are underway to discover other irciniastatin analogs. -
