Abstract
The global carbon dioxide concentration steadily increases about 2 ppm per year by human activity. Actually, anthropogenic emission amount is 4 ppm, but just half of this remains in the atmosphere due to oceanic and terrestial reduction processes. Especially previous studies claim that growth rate of carbon dioxide concentration is well correlated with El Nino-Southern Oscillation (ENSO) indices such as Southern Oscillation Index. El Nino events cause not only warmer Sea Surface Temperature, but also affect the atmospheric field such as precipitation in equatorial regions. It can be change the environments for equatorial huge biosphere and its also global carbon cycle. Since direct observe carbon flux between land and atmosphere is impossible, the inverse model and few of land model used for investigate interannual variability of carbon dioxide concentration. In this study, Coupled Model Intercomparison Project Phase 5 (CMIP5) results employed to confirm interannual carbon flux variability in Earth System Models (ESMs).n processes.
