Abstract
Differential gene expression profiling was performed with an oligo-microarray in the liver tissue of the marine medaka fish, Oryzias javanicus. For the microarray experiment we exposed marine medaka fish to three endocrine disrupting chemicals (76 μg/L in bisphenol A (BPA), 100 μg/L in 17β-estradiol (E2), 20 μg/L in 4-Nonylphenol (NP)) for various times (6 hr, 12 hr, 24 hr, 48 hr) and hybridized those RNAs extracted from the exposed groups with that of control group (seawater, 12 hr) on the 44 K Oja oligo-microarray. As the results, 255, 473, 549, 671 common codes expression were changed over 2-fold, treated 3 chemicals for 12 hr, 24 hr, 48 hr, respectively. We found the 20 common genes in marine medaka about various stress. 3 common genes expressions were induced, 12 common genes expressions were reduced and 3 common genes expressions were varied as chemical over 2-fold by 3 chemicals for all 4 different times. Those shared genes could be used for endocrine disrupting chemical stress responsible biomarker in marine medaka fish. as (76 μg/L in bisphenol A (BPA), 100 μg/L in 17β-estradiol (E2), 20 μg/L in 4-Nonylphenol (NP)) for various times (6 hr, 12 hr, 24 hr, 48 hr) and hybridized those RNAs extracted from the exposed groups with that of control group (seawater, 12 hr) on the 44 K Oja oligo-microarray.
