dc.description.abstract Propagation of the 2011 Tohoku Tsunami using different numerical models (Present model, FUNWAVE-TVD, COMCOT). Maximum surface elevations were computed using the final USGS fault segments data.Even though tModified dispersion-correction scheme utilized a larger uniform grid size than FUNWAVE, it produced similar results, and namely, the computational requirements of the present scheme were lower than those of FUNWAVE while the accuracy of the two methods was similar.
