dc.description.abstract In this paper, we introduce the preliminary results of automatic integration algorithm of space-borne SAR and terrestrial AIS. Firstly, the time criterion is applied to compensate the time difference between the SAR observation and received AIS. Secondly, in case of moving ships, the compensation of image shift is carried out in azimuth direction from each ship on SAR imagery. Finally, the appropriate searching circle is set to find same ship identified in SAR using AIS information. After integration, the distance between corrected ship position from SAR and AIS data was reduced by a maximum value of 90m than previous one. Therefore, hope that this result will contribute to develop the real-time ship surveillance system. AIS.
