Abstract
This paper aims to introduce a master plan for the establishment of sea test bed titled ‘K-TEC’ for 4.5MW tidal current energy converters. The master plan of K-TEC includes determination of optimal sites for four test berths, grid-connected systems, ocean physical environment conditions, construction of performance test facilities for evaluation of tidal current power components and so on.ed systems, ocean physical environment conditions, construction of performance test facilities for evaluation of tidal current power components and so on.
