Abstract
- Paralytic shellfish poisoning outbreaks caused by the spring bloom of Alexandrium tamarense have been annual events in the southeastern coastal waters of Korea. Most studies of the bloom and toxin have been focused on vegetative population dynamics of the species. In this study, a full course from the cyst stage to the mussel toxicity was traced to understand the mass transformation.dynamics of the species. In this study, a full course from the cyst stage to the mussel toxicity was traced to understand the mass transformation.
