dc.description.abstract Total organ carbon (TOC %) and its stable carbon isotope and sedimentary organic n-alkanes compound were conducted to assess the paleoenvironmental changes from the Mahakam delta and Arafura Sea in low latitude Indonesian areas. The content of TOC (%) ranges approximately from 0.4% to 0.7% in Aru core sediment, and it ranges between 1.97% and 2.69% in Mahakam core sediments (LP-1915). The carbon isotope ( -
