dc.description.abstract In this study, we estimated an optimal escape route of humans at a tidal flat using Dijkstra's algorithm. Dijkstra's algorithm is used for finding the optimal path between nodes by evaluating their weight and distance. Using the spectralangle mapper technique, we classified sea-bottom a sediment type of the tidal flat from an observed aerial image. The sediment type and distance were considered as a factor in determining weights in the algorithm. We calculated the optimalescape route using the algorithm based on an aerial image of the tidal flat and visualized the result. This study is expected to reduce the incident of human casualties in the tidal flat. -
