dc.description.abstract Korea Institute of Ocean Science and Technology (KIOST) has researched on escape guidance system. The R&D project is sponsored by Ministry of Ocean and Fisheries in South Korea. For the research, there has been several academic activities:the presentation about trend of passenger evacuation analysis (Ryu et al, 2017a), the paper regarding the shortening effect of escape guidance (Ryu et al., 2017b) and the agenda on escape guiding system (IMO SSE, 2017). This paper purpose to introduce the summary of above activities and progressive research result. Further result of this study is not described in this paper but will be explained on presentation on Asia Navigation Conference 2019 which will be held on November 21st to 23rd 2019. -
