dc.description.abstract | The wave forecast system for the coastal areas was established as a part of the Korea Operational Oceanographic System (KOOS). To impose the meteorological forcing of wave models, WRF model was used by using the NCEP global forecasts for the initial and boundary conditions. The WAM and SWAN wave models were used to simulate wave fields for the regional seas and coastal area, respectively. All results were compared with the observed wave data from KORDI and KMA observation stations. | - |
