dc.description.abstract Stellettamide B and stellettadine A, two alkaloids possessing carbon skeletons of mixed biogenetic origins, have been isolated from a sponge of the genus Stelletta. The structure of stellettamide B, a novel indolizidine alkaloid, has been determined by combined chemical and spectral methods. These compounds exhibited moderate antifungal and RNA-cleaving activities. -
