Abstract
- This paper introduces an antenna housing design intended for use in extreme environments. Typically, antenna housing for wireless communication is designed in a flat-shaped structure to minimize distortion of the radiation pattern. However, while a curved structure offers advantages in environments with significant wind impact, it can also lead to decreased antenna gain due to phase distortion resulting from the housing shape. To address this issue, this study proposes an antenna housing structure for extreme environments that incorporates both the
aerodynamic drag and the dielectric lens.
