dc.description.abstract This study investigated the pullout resistance of waste fishing net textile (WT) embedded in the interface between the existing concrete and fibrous mortar matrix using different embedded lengths, and anchorage methods. A pullout test method was proposed for WT. The pullout resistance of WT was compared to that of glass textile (GT) embedded at the interface between concrete and mortar matrix. The pullout response of WT was characterized by three stages including linear elastic, non-linear debonding and extension stages. The pullout resistance of WT increased with the increment of embedded length. The effective anchorage length of WT between concrete and mortar matrix was within the range between 15 and 45 mm. A combination of bond adhesive and epoxy resin (AE) was the most effective in enhancing the pullout parameters of WT. WT even produced higher pullout resistance than GT using the same embedded length. -
