해양생명자원연구부는 체계적인 해양생명자원의 발굴, 최적 배양기술 개발, 오믹스 분석을 통한 기능 이해 및 이에 기반한 생명공학의 원천기술 ‧신소재 개발 등을 통하여 해양생명자원 활용 극대화와 관련 산업 발전을 추구한다.
