dc.description.abstract Four monstrilloid species from Korea are described. Specimens were obtained from inshore waters on the east and south coasts of South Korea, using a light trap. placed on rocky or sandy bottom of 3-6 meters in depth mostly at piers or seawalls around small harbors overnight. All the four species is evidently assignable to the genus Monstrillopsis by the character combination of typical shape of male antennule with hyaline bump proximally and curved spinous process distally on last segment long, cylindrical male genital apparatus with paired lappets or lobes distolaterally 5-segmented urosome, including two postgenital somites and anal somite in male only four caudal setae. This presentation deals with description of the four monstrilloid species from Korea and taxonomic accounts on their affinities, with detailed illustrations of the morphological characters.lls around small harbors overnight.
