The Dokdo Research Center was established in 2006 under the mission of “protecting Dokdo with science”, and conducts national Dokdo research project for sustainable use and management of Dokdo. Along with this, we are providing important information about Dokdo to the nation and the public through the construction of the Dokdo database and the operation of the Dokdo Comprehensive Information System. In addition, we are contributing to the public recognition of the value of the Dokdo and the realization of its territorial sovereignty, through the utilization and dissemination of Dokdo research results.
