Ballast Water Research Center
선박평형수연구센터The Ship Ballast Water Research Center conducts researches on transport reduction and management of aquatic invasive species. Its research topics include the testing and quality control to ensure that the ballast water treatment system meets international standard, and risk analysis and assessment to manage the aquatic invasive species.
선박평형수연구센터는 외래생물의 이동 저감 및 관리를 위한 기반연구를 수행하고 있다. 외래생물 이동 저감을 위한 선박평형수처리 설비가 국제기준을 만족할 수 있도록 시험 및 품질관리, 그리고 외래생물 관리를 위한 위해성분석 및 평가를 수행하고 있다.
