해양공간·환경정책연구실The Marine Spatial Environmental Policy Research Section of the Ocean Policy Institute studies policies including marine spatial management, marine environment, and coastal management to reduce conflicts in marine use and promote effective marine management. In the area of marine spatial management research, we support Marine Spatial Suitability Assessment and researches spatial information and spatial planning as a specialized agency. In the area of the marine environment and coastal management, we conduct policy studies related to the marine environment and ecosystem conservation, coastal disaster response, coastal regeneration, and climate change. Besides, the team is strengthening policy support to resolve internal and external issues related to marine space and the environment.
해양이용의 갈등을 줄이고 효과적인 해양관리를 추진토록 하기 위해 해양공간관리와 해양환경 및 연안관리 정책을 연구한다. 해양공간관리 연구영역에서는 해양공간계획평가 전문기관으로써 적합성협의를 지원하고, 공간정보및 공간계획 관련 연구를 한다. 해양환경 및 연안관리 영역에서는 해양환경∙생태계 보전, 연안재해대응, 연안재생, 기후변화 관련 정책연구를 한다. 그 외에 해양공간∙환경 관련 대내외적 현안 문제 해결을 위한 정책지원을 강화하고 있다.
