dc.description.abstract More than 8 million m3 of contaminated marine sediments have been waited to be remediated for the protection of marine life and human health in KOREA. Most contaminated dredged materials have been mainly disposed of at near shore confined disposal facility (CDF), however, this land disposal option become depleted. Therefore regulations allowing decontamination processes of contaminated sediment and its disposal including beneficial use are urgently required.
