dc.description.abstract Recently, there has been a marked improvement in the techniques for measuring the MLT region by observing a number of airglows emitted from various atmospheric species, such as OH, O2, O and Na. The mesospheric OH nightglow emission rate and temperature fluctuations induced by tides and gravity waves have been the subject of numerous theoretical and experimental investigations . -
