dc.description.abstract The variation of the Yellow Sea Bottom Cold Water (YSBW) are investigated by using CTD data observed during 1996~1998. Temperature and salinity at the depth of 60 m varied spatially and seasonally. The salinity decreases in the southern part of the Yellow Sea in summer, while it increases in the northern part. This seems to come from the northward advection and diffusion of the YSBW. -
